Againthank Apple care. However, without any real prompting by me, a Microsoft supervisor called back soon after the Apple fix, wanting to help solve the problem. All of the Microsoft people tried and were customer oriented and tried even if uninformed.
The person that called today agreed that there was a Windows 10 fix that they were working on to solve this problem of not recognizing devices outside of Microsoft, and was doing everything possible to help.
It should be noted that previous Microsoft OS did not have this problem. I used them since Windows I had to get off phone for a family matter, but he even wanted to call back later. Bottom line is problem solved. I think Windows 10 is a good product and as described above, people worked to solve problem across corporate boundaries.
